Here at Strategies for Children we’re excited to be launching the celebration of our 25th anniversary.
In our two-and-a-half decades of work, Strategies has been leading the way towards meaningful change in early childhood systems across Massachusetts by connecting people to people, people to policy, and people to power.
Check out this video announcement with details on our celebration:
Here are some key quotes from the video:
“We’re celebrating 25 years, and we love a good history project here at Strategies, but we’re going to balance looking back and looking forward.”
— Amy O’Leary, executive director of Strategies for Children

“We are really lucky and blessed to be in this community with you all; that’s one theme we’re going to emphasize throughout this year.
“The early childhood community in Massachusetts throughout the past 25 years has made such strides and wins and evolved in many ways and grown stronger. We are a part of that community… but we want to make it clear that this is a group effort. It’s not just one organization or one leader or one era.”
— Titus DosRemedios, deputy director of Strategies for Children

“What I’m most excited about—having retired and having come on to the Strategies board and having become chair of the board—is I’m excited because we have taken the last couple of years to look at where we’ve been, look at how we got here, and most importantly, we said, ‘All right, that’s all well and good. We can tell you about the history forever and ever, but now we’re really thinking about where we’re going.’
“… one of the most exciting things that I’ve been part of is working… to develop the next generation of early childhood leaders with our early childhood fellows program. That’s magical. That’s exactly where Strategies should be going after… 25 years of experience.”
— Sally Fuller, Chair of the Board of Strategies for Children
