The Department of Early Education and Care is holding a public comment period on the formula for the Commonwealth Cares for Children (C3) grants. 

There will be a virtual public hearing on Monday, September 8, 2025, from 6:00-7:30 p.m., and it’s vital that policymakers hear from early educators on this issue. Key issues include how much C3 funding early childhood programs need to meet the requirement to increase salaries.
