The 9:30 Call en español is back, and it will meet on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m!
Our co-hosts are Harold Blanco and Paula A. Echeverri Durango, early childhood educators and co-owners of Paula’s Barn Child Care in Springfield, as well as co-founders and directors of ECCHO-Latino, alumni of the Advocacy Network for Early Childhood at Strategies for Children, and at-large board members at MAAEYC. Join us to learn from guest speakers, stay informed about policies and resources, and become a part of a growing community of Spanish-speaking early childhood educators and other professionals across the state of Massachusetts.
How can you join these calls? Visit www.strategiesforchildren.org/930call, click the orange registration button, and complete the form. You will receive an email with the Zoom link. We use the same Zoom link for all 9:30 calls (mornings and afternoons).
We’re also looking for new guest speakers and/or new topics that would interest Spanish-speaking early childhood educators and other professionals who work with young children and their families. The 9:30 Call en español is a great platform for organizations to engage directly with Spanish-speaking communities across the Commonwealth around all things early childhood, including opportunities and resources, policy updates, and advocacy efforts. We encourage prospective guest speakers to fill out the interest form.
